You'd love it. Al Pacino, Jack Lemon, Ed Harris and Alec Baldwin all standing around shouting profanity laced verbal abuse at each other for two hours. It is glorious.

I haven’t yet!

Speaking of Special Ops: Lioness created by Taylor Sheridan. They just released the trailer for the new show just a few hours ago. Coming out July 23rd https://youtu.be/3axWgmlwnl4

Yeah that was a good watch. I think I read somewhere that the guy who wrote the script was a prison psychologist.

Taylor Sheridan is now dominating TV now with being the show creator for 5 shows. One of Paramount Network that is coming to an end and 4 others on Paramount + right now. He has done Yellowstone (in its fifth and final season; starring Kevin Costner; think ranching meets The Godfather); Mayor of Kingstown (a unique crime drama Starring Jeremy Renner that just finished its second season); 1883 (which is a prequel miniseries to Yellowstone Starring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill); Tulsa King (which just finished Season One; a mafia dramedy starring Sylvester Stallone; think Yellowstone meets the Sapranos); and 1923 (just finished Season 1 and will be a 2 season show; which is a sequel to 1883 but a prequel to Yellowstone starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren). I highly recommend all of these shows. Also, Sheridan has more television shows on the way: he has a sequel series to Yellowstone coming out this winter that is rumored to Star Matthew McConaughey; Special Ops: Lioness (a CIA thriller) starring Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman, and Morgan Freeman; and Lawmen: Bass Reeves (Bass Reeves is the real life lawman in the late 1800’s that inspired the television character The Lone Ranger and was also African American) Starring David Oyelowo and Dennis Quaid. Can’t wait for these shows to come out.

This dude David McKenzie also made a movie called Starred Up, which is a really crazy intense British prison film. Definitely recommend checking that one out too

Have you done Glengarry Glennross yet? I'm surprised it wasn't on the list. That movie is pure writing. Nothing but dialogue between great actors.

I forgot you saw Wind River first. The murdered girl’s father plays Bridges’ partner in this movie. Gil Birmingham is a stupendous actor.

Dug the movie but I still think it was a tad overrated. Maybe it was because I saw cold in July right before it and enjoyed it more

Taylor Sheridan is a good writer but I always found him slightly bland. His dialogue is realistic but that is not always a good thing. I always preferred writers like David Mamet who could do magic with language, such as elevating profanity to art. Sheridan, while good and solid, has never been able to do that in my opinion.
