If you have seldom heard Farrakhan speak you will be surprised how much you agree with, and you get to see great 90s outfits, and hear a white woman say with no self awareness, “some of my best friends are black”

TBH it reminds me so much of the absolutely bullshit idea that US police can be “reformed.” To what?! American policing was born out of racism and horrific classism- literally the early policing was “slave patrols,” and protecting the aristocrats from “the dangerous classes.” It is SO cringe because lately the URJ is trying to market discussions on “The Z-Word,” one of which is “To be a Zionist in today’s world: passion, complexity, and misunderstanding.” I wonder if the “misunderstanding” is being honest about the reality of Zionism, or just more BS waffling: “it doesn’t SAY ‘Zionism’ but this is proof of ancient Zionism!”- paraphrase of something a person in my temple’s Torah study said.
