The Great Escape (currently on HBO Max) also has one of the most daring stunts of all-time that Steve McQueen actually did himself. The Towering Inferno is probably the best disaster film ever made and the Cinematography and lighting in that film is a masterpiece. I would also add one more film to list that also has Steve McQueen, The Magnificent Seven. I think you would absolutely love this western because it is actually a western that is adapted from a Samurai movie classic, The Seven Samurai. The Magnificent Seven and The Great Escape also has two of the finest film scores of all-time.
