2022-02-08 03:52:14 +0000 UTCLance Henrikson, the actor who played Bishop in Aliens and the detective at the police station in this, was the original choice for the Terminator's role. It makes sense from a practical perspective, he can be both creepy and intimidating but looks like a normal person (unlike Arnold, who stands out when grouped with regular humans). I think they made the right choice, but I would love to see a version of this with Lance Henrikson as the star. James, please do not put Terminator 2 on the weekly poll. It would be a ringer and do better than this did. Make that a Friday pick and let the other movies fight it out, if only out of kindness to the not giant blockbuster movies.

2022-02-07 23:56:27 +0000 UTCGreat movie, as much of a horror film as it is an action film. Arnie has hardly any lines and is so scary. The 2nd movie is one of the greatest action films ever made and was pioneering in the use of CGI at the time, so you should definitely do that one. James Cameron comes back with over 10 times the budget of this one and it was the most expensive movie ever made at that point. (Don't wanna hype it up too much but it's my favourite movie of all time)
