With all due respect to the other movies listed, Network is the most important and based on the current political climate the most timely film listed.

2022-01-31 03:18:48 +0000 UTCI think The Graduate is a must! Early Dustin Hoffman, the great Anne Bancroft, and even a few seconds of Richard Dreyfuss in his first movie role. How can you go wrong? I’ve suggested this one before and I’ll keep bringing it up. We studied it in film class for the directing and editing. That said, I LOVE Birdcage! It’s just plain fun. Robin Williams and Nathan Lane are national treasures. We need some good fun.

2022-01-28 04:03:01 +0000 UTCI'd love to see a Mike Nichols movie on the channel but sadly The Birdcage should probably not be the first one.

2022-01-27 21:50:11 +0000 UTCThe birdcage is perfect after all the heavy serious emotional movies lately. If there is a Robin Williams film as an option it should always be picked. Just my opinion lol.

2022-01-27 16:40:01 +0000 UTCVote Birdcage! We need some lightness up in here!

2022-01-27 03:17:12 +0000 UTCMy 2 votes are: 1. The Third Man 2. Network (Peter Finch's last film) But The Day the Earth Stood Still, Jacob's Ladder, Soylent Green (Edward G Robinson's last film), and The Birdcage are tempting me sooo much.

2022-01-27 02:47:05 +0000 UTCYeah, really. And now Tremors is the clear front runner this week and Network is neck and next with Cloverfield??? smh!

2022-01-26 18:50:31 +0000 UTCTremors is a cert and I've voted for it. But hope The Classic Third Man gets a shout. They don't make films like that anymore

2022-01-26 18:22:44 +0000 UTCYou need to set aside a good chunk of time and take a look at The Expanse. The way that series is filmed will make most filmmakers drool!
2022-01-26 18:21:46 +0000 UTCWow, no-one likes 'Primal Fear', I must be old or something.

2022-01-26 18:18:29 +0000 UTCGoing Doctor Sleep and The Day the Earth Stayed Still. Just a little trivia fact: The Day the Earth Stayed Still is Spielberg’s favorite film. The Director of The Day the Earth Stayed Still also directed the original West Wide Story, and Spielberg ended up directing a remake of West Side Story that came out this year.
