Added 2022-01-12 19:22:18 +0000 UTCVote on what I should watch and react to next! This Poll will end most likely Sunday and I'll choose the TOP 2 to react to next week on Monday & Wednesday!
No worries, I plan on actually prolonging these recommendations so don't trip if you don't see your selection on here first!

I know this isn't officially a suggestions thread, but I'm just going to ask if we've been through "Milk" yet? could pair it up with the doc "The Life and Times of Harvey Milk". I could be way behind the Patreon suggestions curve since I'm newbie-ish, though. If so, apologies in advance

2022-01-15 05:55:36 +0000 UTCI'm just coming back to laugh my head off at the Shawshank results. We all knew this was gonna happen. This is gonna be terrific. :D It's such a great film.

2022-01-13 22:18:06 +0000 UTCShawano redemption is a must, just saw The Warriors again last night, always a fun movie to watch
2022-01-13 17:16:33 +0000 UTCExcalibur needs a lot more love, it is a unique film and definitely worth watching. Can't complain about the two top voted movies though, they're both excellent.

2022-01-13 17:14:54 +0000 UTCHe probably wasn't around when TNT and TBS syndicated it like every day. Actually, watching reactions really put that in perspective for me. The 20-somethings of today didn't grow up with TV; they had the internet and streaming services and as any generation kinda should, many/most of them were paying attention to what's going on at the time.

2022-01-13 11:34:12 +0000 UTCSo many movies that are on my "must watch" list. But, in the meantime: 1. Jacob's Ladder 2. Excalibur Probably couldn't come up with such different but great movies.

2022-01-13 02:06:39 +0000 UTCIf we're coming in with requests, can we add The Birdcage to next week? (I forgot to say please. Please can you consider adding The Birdcage?)
Kaitlin
2022-01-13 01:26:25 +0000 UTCJacob's ladder is a real good mind trip movie. I do love excalibur. Over the top acting but the music is great. Has conan the barbarian been on the list? Underrated

2022-01-12 23:30:52 +0000 UTCUsually James will make a post asking for suggests and we all pile in on the comments. He usually requests that it be limited to 2 suggestions per person. He then curates them into polls (not all the suggestions are on the same poll). As he begins to exhaust the list then he posts asking for suggestions again. At least that is how it has worked so far

2022-01-12 22:21:30 +0000 UTCOoooh The Third Man, I’ve been meaning to see that. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Shawshank are also great as well

2022-01-12 21:09:44 +0000 UTCAlso, let's throw in a classic "At Close Range" starring Sean Penn and Christopher Walken. Other suggestions is Room starring Brie Larson which is her best film. And how about for a tv series, The Sinner.

2022-01-12 21:07:32 +0000 UTCHow do you get a movie on the list? Almost Famous needs to be watched.
Chris Martin
2022-01-12 21:07:31 +0000 UTCI remember you did a reaction to 28 days later, so I'll suggest 28 weeks later since you haven't done that, or have you seen that already?

2022-01-12 20:34:36 +0000 UTCI'd love to see my recommendation win but I gotta admit Shawshank and Cuckoo's Nest would make a great double feature.
Damian Christopher
2022-01-12 20:27:52 +0000 UTCShawshank is Legendary, up there in top 5 movies ever made for sure.

2022-01-12 20:12:45 +0000 UTCOh wow, I can't believe Shawshank is on here. Easy vote for Shawshank, it's a legit all-time great film, you won't be disappointed!

2022-01-12 20:00:37 +0000 UTCCuckoo's Nest is my pick, but damn, we gotta get Third Man up soon
Bert Taverner
2022-01-12 19:59:30 +0000 UTCShawshank's played out for me. Voted for Manhunter, Into the Wild, and The Third Man.
Ken
2022-01-12 19:55:28 +0000 UTCShawshank is good but been done so much. I’d wait and space it out a bit. Manhunter is an under appreciated 80s gem and Primal Fear is what shot Edward Norton into the spotlight
GamerGal8684
2022-01-12 19:48:52 +0000 UTCManhunter and Shawshank for me on this one (how have you not seen Shawshank James?!?!?)
M Potter
2022-01-12 19:30:37 +0000 UTCExcalibur is mandatory viewing for any film buff. Just saying.

2022-01-12 19:30:24 +0000 UTCThe play with light and shadow in The Third Man are incredible. My favorite film noir!

2022-01-12 19:27:29 +0000 UTCGoing the Shawshank Redemption and one flew over the coocoo’s nest. The Shawshank Redemption is one of the Greatest films of all-time. James, you’ll love it.

2022-01-12 19:26:43 +0000 UTCHave you already watch the new Dune movie? If not it would be a nice one for sure
2022-01-12 19:24:45 +0000 UTCBro, go watch some of these movies!
Kaitlin
2022-01-12 19:24:37 +0000 UTCNot to be that guy but Bro react to some newer movies or like 2000s movies I have no idea what these movies even are.

2022-01-12 19:24:10 +0000 UTCOMG Shawshank! Just put that in one of the winning spots. It's on the same level as Schindler. Oh wow I can't wait for you to see this one.
