Ha - I've made the same comment every post - it changes the whole richness of the show immensely - plus maintains the concept of keeping some subtle thread btw seasons all the way back to the movie. But the biggest loss not having that connection is that showdown between Malvo and the old Lou in his Diner as one of the best moments of Season 1 with the showdown btw young Loe and Dodd in episode 2. Plus all the references in season 1 to the massacre at Sioux Falls...I just keep hoping he notices one of the comments just for his own more fulfilling experience!
