Movie Reaction Poll

Vote on what I should watch and react to next! This Poll will end most likely Sunday and I'll choose the TOP 2 to react to next week on Monday & Wednesday!

No worries, I plan on actually prolonging these recommendations so don't trip if you don't see your selection on here first!

Comments

A bit late but I just wanted to say Night of the Hunter is such a beautiful film. I voted but I doubt it would win. Whoever chose it.. Great choice. Also The Last Boy Scout great Action flick with witty Sgane Black Dialogue and flashy Tony Scott visuals. Its a guilty pleasure

Marvelous Dolcy

Excellent winners! And third-ing be sure to watch black and white It's A Wonderful Life.

Kaitlin

Watch the black and white verison of Its A Wonderful life, not the colorized

Awesome. It’s a Wonderful Life probably the best Christmas film of all-time. Really think you’ll really love this film. It’s a film that you can study on how to switch tones in a film with ease and make it seamless. It constantly switches from both a light and fun tone to dark and emotional with ease.

Cody Price

Okay just marking this down as of right now, since the count is SUPER CLOSE. Black Dynamite won along with Its a Wonderful Life. I’ll be posting the winning comment later today but just marking it now before it changes!

James Adams

Amadeus is an amazing film, one of my top 5, but I also need Black Dynamite to win.

Kaitlin

Please STOP with the Adameus sickness! It's an okay film but come on peeps, Black Dynamite is a movie that James needs to see this freakin' week, yo!

H Blackwell

Amadeus is fantastic, but the only version widely available right now is the so-called "Director's Cut" (which isn't really the director's cut). Supposedly a new 4K remaster of the original theatrical cut (the director's actual preferred version) is on the way soon, so I might recommend waiting for that.

Bryan Tuck

Never seen such a close 4 way race on these polls.

Yours truly, Johnny Dollar

Someone pull their votes for Eyes Wide Shut so Black Dynamite can win!

Kaitlin

Black Dynamite is so close! James would have a ball with this movie.

Chance's House Of Horror

I love Night of the Hunter. I hope it wins another round!

Kaitlin

I took one of my other votes out so Black Dynamite has a better shot. I saw it opening weekend. It's incredible.

Kaitlin

God I want Black Dynamite to win so badly. I feel like not enough people have seen it to know how amazing it really is.

Larry Ferrell Jr

I mean 'tis the season for It's a Wonderful Life though also Amadeus? Night of the Hunter? Paris, Texas? All mandatory for any self-respecting cinephile

Bert Taverner

Had to vote for my picks! Night of the Hunter (where the “love” and “hate” tattoos on the knuckles originated - on a preacher nonetheless!) and Shallow Grave. I’m really hoping Primal Fear will be picked soon too.

Brittyn Lindsey

Same here. I’m going to keep voting for it though!

Brittyn Lindsey

into the wild! 🙏🏽 if it doesn’t win the polls, you definitely gotta check it out sometime, i think it will speak to you and be right up your alley 😁⛰

Lily

I’m going to guess and say Tom Hardy? I wasn’t sure either, I just selected it from the comments from the recommendation list.

James Adams

I love Amadeus so much, but I'll vote for it next time because that's how much I want Black Dynamite to win. Let's go Black Dynamite!

Kaitlin

My two picks are: 1 Amadeus 2 Eyes Wide Shut Again a great selection to choose from.

Brett Coster

Might get there, I just need an excuse to watch this masterpiece again. Insane competition though, so... I almost didn't vote for Amadeus.

W T

Man, The Cell is such an overlooked movie, same for The Fall - two movies Tarsem Singh really nailed imho.

W T

Unfortunately, I can't vote Black Dynamite twice. This movie NEEDS to win, people.

H Blackwell

Black Dynamite, Last Boy Scout (one of Bruce Willis' best ever), Layer Cake, Eyes Wide Shut, Amadeus (such an amazing film for the visuals alone), Primal Fear and Michael Clayton. I try to watch Amadeus at least once a year and I have Last Boy Scout memorized because there are so many one liners (bonus: it has Halle Berry in an early role as a stripper)

Jon Bradley

Love to see Shallow Grave. Sadly, it will probably never be picked. Little known, very underrated. Great 90's flick though and directorial debut for Danny Boyle.

kbobravo

Definitely Paris Texas for my vote

Matt

Yes! Black and White version of It's A Wonderful Life FTW!!!

Heath Cowart

Help me out here: which Legend are we voting for, the one starring Tom or the one starring Tom? Legend (2015) starring Tom Hardy Legend (1985) starring Tom Cruise (and directed by Ridley Scott)

Paul Steffens

I'm just happy The Cell made it to the list! (Although I'm doubtful it'll get a win lol)

Cifer

Damn great list!

I voted for Black Dynamite, Paris, Texas, The Night of The Hunter and Shallow Grave (I haven't watched this but really want to)

kimsmk

If you enjoy this film I also recommend Alice In The Cities by the same director.

kimsmk

Amadeus is a great movie, great performance by F. Murray Abraham, gorgeously shot, very deep, great music!

Paris, Texas 🤞 been recommending this one for ages

James, on It’s a Wonderful Life make sure to watch the Black and White version and not the colorized version. The colorized version takes away from the feel of the film. Kinda of takes the magic out of the film.

Cody Price

Hope It’s a Wonderful Life wins the poll. Love that film. Gets surprisingly dark for a Christmas film as well. Plus, anything with Jimmy Stewart I am game for. Jimmy’s my favorite actor.

Cody Price

You’re one of the first people that catches my eye when it comes to breaking down films

Next week, wanted some fresh titles on there first!

James Adams

Harold and Maude

Randall Bott

Nooo, what happened to Lost in Translation? It got 3rd last time 😭

Patrick

I was thinking of watching The Cell again... hopefully it wins

Sabra Lee

Seeing "It's a Wonderful Life" for the first time! Wow! I envy you for not having seen it before! There's so much going on in that film... a story brilliantly told! I look forward to seeing your reaction!

Steve Brant

Lol great now I have “Rock me Amadeus” stuck in my head

Sonia Deepak

Eyes Wide Shut is incredible. Wish I could see it again for the first time

AMADEUS FTW
