12 Monkeys was Brad Pitt’s first Oscar nomination. I know Brad Pitt won his acting Oscar for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but I still feel that his best performance was in Moneyball.

2021-12-04 23:01:06 +0000 UTCThis film was the first movie that "blew my mind" when I was 12 or 13 and I saw it 3 times in the theater. In a way, my favorite part of the film is that the second to last scene is a scientist from the future sitting down next to the virologist on the plane. It is also crazy the Gilliam considered this a film he just made for the paycheck. PS: I would recommend you either go with Fisher King or Time Bandits for your next Gilliam, they are (respectively) his big drama and his family friendly hits.
