Nosferatu (1922) the original horror movie The Wicker Man (1973) a truly great movie, with a twist. NOT the Nicholas Cage remake from 2006.

Brett Coster

The Lodge (2019) OR, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night (2014) Described as "The First Iranian Vampire Western" this film takes an unorthodox look (with a hint of David Lynch) at the vampire love story.

Ash vs. Evil Dead the show. Please start this if you can. Very, Very, Very cool camera shots and funny as hell comedy from Bruce Campbell. He is better at acting in is older age.

Shaun

After much debate and great consideration... The Orphanage (2007) Audition (1999)

The Omen and The Ring

Charles Allen

American Werewolf is a must

Charles Allen

A Tale of Two Sisters and Drag Me to Hell

Aimée Town

My two are °Carrie (1976) °Psycho (1960) because you haven't done an oldie yet... Also suggestions from fellow Patrons are good esp American Werewolf in London and Let the right one in. Those films have my vote

Marvelous Dolcy

Two from the late, great Wes Craven: * The People Under the Stairs (1991) * The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988)

Christiaan Van den Akker

paranormal activities and The Strangers

"The Others" (2001) - I usually hate horror but this film is amazing "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (1992) - so many tributes to classic Hammer Horror films in this one (plus it's francis ford coppola)

Sonia Deepak

"Bram Stocker's Dracula" (1992) and "Play Misty for Me" (1971)

W T

CLIMAX 2018

Matt

OVERLOERD 2018

Matt

Event Horizon & The Exorcist 👀👹

Ancestor of Freedom

Braindead (Dead Alive in the US), very early Peter Jackson and bloody fun, oh so bloody fun! Carrie (1976), early Brian De Palma. Doesn't have a Freddy or Jason which IMHO kept it from legendary status but I think it's better because that allowed it to focus on more teenage awkwardness. But I am willing to trade this one in for Let The Right One In since it already was put forward by others and is a great movie.

Paul Steffens

ParaNorman and Poltergeist

ActionJeans

The Legend of Hell House (1973) and Audition (1999)

Damian Christopher

Evil Dead (2013) and Rec ( 2007)

Ken

The Silence of the Lambs

Maniac (2012) and One Cut of the Dead (2017)

Nonimal

The Addams Family(any of them), and The Strangers

I’m actually gonna say something different. I think that to coincide with the release of the latest bond film “No Time To Die”, it’d be fun to get your filmmaking perspective on one of the classic 007 films say possibly “Goldfinger” or “Casino Royale”(2006).

Taner Archibald

Train to Busan or Happy Death Day

breanna

CREEP (2014) different and original horror movie with some dark comedy aspects, mark duplass is AMAZING! definitely an underrated gem also i see you haven’t reacted to THE EXORCIST (1973) which is just a must i mean come on!!! still holds up to this day and i’m very picky about my horror films

Lily

Let The Right One In and It (2017)

Kaitlin

The Babadook is not specifically a Halloween movie, but it is definitely one of the best horror films of all time

Coherence (2013) The Assistant (2019)

Gillian Hadland

Suspiria (1977 + 2018)

I assumed that he reacted to this already so I didn’t recommend it. Seems like I was wrong. One of my favorites!!!

Brittyn Lindsey

Killer Klowns From Outer Space.

2old4gamez

Silent Hill for sure. One of the best movies inspired by a video game out there.

2old4gamez

I have felt like It Follows is the film that started the recent renaissance of the horror genre that has happened especially within the independent studios like A24 and Blumhouse.

Taner Archibald

The Shining (1980)

David Noone

Scream 1 & 2

Foggy

Tim Curry is the best scary clown

Beetlejuice

An American Werewolf in London (1981) - it’s Edgar wrights favourite film

The original IT

Let The Right One In (2008) and Rosemary's Baby (1968)

Nishant

Trick R Treat (2007) Kuroneko (1968)

Yessica C

It Follows (2014) and Fright Night (1985)! It Follows is one of the best horror movies these last ten years in my opinion, with a really unique idea and also being really terrifying. Fright Night is top tier horror comedy that really fits the Halloween season.

Rickard Blixt

I recommend Silent hill (2006) and Evil Dead (2013)

Cassandra

Eyes Wide Shut. Such a haunting movie

The others Let the right one in

Christian Edelmann

The Haunting (1962) and The Changeling (1980) are two of my all-time favorites. But Cabin in the Woods (2012) is so great, and a perfect reaction film because of all the twists and turns and plot lines. OH, and The Mist! Sorry, didn't mean to go over the limit.

I was gonna have that be a Thursday on the simple fact that it’s my JAM 😂🙏🏽

James Adams

Fright night 1985 John carpenters Prince of darkness and in the mouth of madness

Brittyn Lindsey

Sweeney Todd-Johnny Depp won a Golden Globe for the lead role in his first musical. Bram Stokers Dracula-Gary Oldman, Anthony Hopkins, Keanu Reeves just to name a few. It's an amazingly beautiful film. Francis Ford Coppola directed.

Ashley Summerfield

The Frighteners, Beetlejuice

Clue (1985). Cult classic I promise you'll love.

Eurocheese

House of a Thousand Corpses-Rob Zombie masterpiece!!!

Lynda Olson

WhatRaySay

Sinister, Suspiria (2018 Remake)

Xclusive

Shouldn't he do the original Susperia first?

Mr Zilla

My favorite scary movies are found footage films but I know not everyone likes them so I won’t recommend any. Instead, I recommend: High Tension The Ring

Brittyn Lindsey

Count Dracula (1977) and Eraserhead.

Mr Zilla

The Wailing. Excellent Korean Horror movie that blends a lot of different genres. Noire, zombie, to possession. All in one package. It’s atmospheric, emotional, and pretty creepy.

Sammy Pichardo

Funny Games (1997)

SUSPIRIA (2018) and MANDY

The Frighteners!
