My favourite trivia about this movie is that the mother in the cellar is actually played by Ted Raimi (the brother of Sam) in a latex suit in which it was so hot during the filming that they actually had to drain the suit at the end of each day before he could get out. In the scene near the end where he hovers above Annie, if you watch closely, you can actually see some of the sweat pour out the cracks in the suit. He actually cameos in a lot of his brother's work, but I don't think he ever suffered as much as he did there. (Plus the white lenses for the Deadites made it so the actors were practically blind.)
