[POLL] Rey.... joins the Junior Jedi Academy?

So I'm pondering a crazy idea. But it might just be a waste of time. I have some thoughts on how to rework and retcon some stuff in the Sequel trilogy to jam it into place and set it just before Junior Jedi Academy. (Han lives, Luke does too, Ben Solo doesn't exit and Kylo is just Kylo and the whole Emperor thing is basically what happened in Dark Empire)  This way Rey could be a sort of junior instructor that comes on board at the Academy. I know this is a weird idea and it's totally fine if you guys are put off by it. But fuck, Rey is hot and it'd be way easier to play with her in the Junior Jedi setting than in her own lonely post Ep 9 one.

I wouldn't introduce her in any big way, she'd just already kind of be there. She's still doing her own thing. Leia and her were very close for a while during the whole Emperor resurrection thing and then after he died Rey went off on her own for a bit. But now Leia's calling on the girl to come help her out at the Academy. Rey would be the same age she is immediately post Ep 9, so like 20ish, maybe 21 or 22 since a little time has passed.

UPDATE: This seems like, in general, a popular idea. Though I understand fully why some people who are worried about it. It's definitely odd and tricky to reason out. I don't want to take away from the universe I've developed but at this point I'm secure in my own timeline. The EU was a fucking mess by the end anyway. Hell it was a mess even in the mid 90s. There's no Yuzonfongwhatever in my timeline. That's when the EU lost me for good. Also one reason why this is more appealing for me is that Ep 9 did not sit well with me, but I mostly loved Ep 7 and 8.

So I'm working on a timeline. Right now Rey would be born immediately following the Battle of Yavin. I'm considering maybe her parents are Luke and Leia, which is why she's so strong in the force and why the clone emperor is all about her, and why Leia got rid of her so fast. I'm not sure if Rey would know who her mom and dad are though... maybe it's just Leia's secret. That birth date would make 21~ when Junior Jedi Academy, so the perfect age compared to how we see her in the movies.

Again, I don't plan on derailing Junior Jedi Academy. I still want it to be a classic 90s Young Adult Novella series, but with filthy sex. Now there's just another hot young instructor.
