This is a hilarious episode. I almost did a spit take with my coffee at a couple of points. I don't think I completely relate to this talk about being able to so cleanly separate actions and feelings (or even why that is necessary), but that also made it all the more fascinating to listen in. Thanks y'all for being so open and frank in discussing your experiences! Also, I'm a guy...and I don't like my asshole, either! Except when it lets me expel solid waste, then I'll tolerate its presence. At least that's how I feel right now.

I absolutely identify with the “zero practice all theory/theoretical lesbian” cuz damn it’s been rough out here. I also perked up when Ashley (I think?) asked Zach if her experiences with women “felt queer” in high school/college and then now? It really made me feel kinda seen in the one experience I’ve had before cuz that was gay as hell 👀 but to the outside it wouldn’t be …. 🤔 Y’all are right, the gender centric stories/episodes are by far my personal faves! Re: Public Universal Friend, in all seriousness, I think one of the main purposes of gender is to declare to the world the role you play in your community and how you want to relate to people. Sort of like how femme/butch labels define how you behave in the lesbian world. So I think thinking about that helps if people are feeling lost about their gender.
