The beginning of this episode got me. I work in HR, and I own my own people operations firm. In high school, I took all of the available painting, drawing, and mixed media art classes. In college, I went to school for Art History (because it felt more realistic and less scary than continuing to pursue studio art). Then I got a master's in Library Science with my concentration leaning toward art librarianship and rare books. I've been doing HR professionally for the last decade. Is this a shadow career?! 🤦‍♀️ I've even recently been working to try to get clients in the entertainment space. I think I finally have to read The War of Art. Thank you for such an impactful starting conversation. <3
