With the school thing. It’s okay for me to miss probably the equivalent of a week maybe more playing football/rugby and travelling sometimes all day to play a game. Genuinely probably a weeks worth. Our rugby team got to the national cup final etc. school trips are holidays were you don’t actually do school work? Going to Germany I didn’t come back fluent I spoke the bits I knew that I’d already learned etc.

I use an auto skipper plugin for youtube to skip all the sponsored bits which works fine for me, I get that creators need Ads to exist and build their content for a bit before they really take off and self-sustain with Patreon etc. What annoys me is that as a Patron I get so much HaW ad content in my email inbox. Not a fan of being asked to repost & share social media posts so often, plus I dont' live near liverpool, so the numerous emails about gigs I have no chance of attending wear thin. Is there no way we could have a tier that costs a bit more that is just a feed for new eps and specials when they drop?

Nah I would die for carl but he is so wrong on this. Holidays are life experiences and family bonding experiences that are invaluable. Also as a parent it's becoming a criminal offence 😂 it's insane. Unless you spent 3 days shitting the kid out you shouldn't get a say when they can have holidays. Also if it's a big deal the holiday company's shouldn't be able to charge ridiculous amounts 🤷‍♀️ it's just another way to penalise the poor.

I think Adam is all good with the singing. So have a word with my brother. When we were kids he wouldn't stop singing do they know it's Christmas time, I don't think they fucking did because he didn't even sing that bit. I think Adam and Carl are arguing about different things when it comes to taking kids out of school. Adam's arguing about whether it should be something that the school has control over, and Carl is arguing whether it makes a difference to the kids education. I think they're both right. If a parent wants/needs to save money and take the kid out of school, they should be allowed to. However, it can't be understated how important every single day/lesson is to a kid especially in Primary school. Mainly the social aspect of building friendships etc is invaluable
