I am still watching Nevertheless and need to start 12. I also really want to start Cinderella Closet (thanks to Gavin for selling me on this).
For those in America, I hope you have a fun and restful long weekend. It’s my birthday weekend so yay Virgo power. I’ve requested only a BTS cake so curious what my family does for the execution.

2025-09-01 15:46:26 +0000 UTCI watched the first episode of BON APPETIT, YOUR MAJESTY and really liked it (except for the old bearded men scheming, I totally scrolled on my phone during that part and will inevitably be lost the next time they appear again). I appreciate that they’re showing the FL’s disbelief in her time travel vs. the just rolling with it approach like in First Night with the Duke. I think I’m going to wait until there are more episodes out so I can binge. Otherwise, I’m still slowly making my way through MY LIBERATION NOTES (through episode 11). I’ve been doing a lot more reading in my spare time as a whole bunch of library holds decided to come in at the same time.

I haven't posted in ages mostly because I started my new job a few weeks ago and every bit of brain power has been sacrificed to hiking up a very steep learning curve. I am STILL watching Prisoner of Beauty (Ep 32's mother-son chat was hilarious) but I love the characters so I'm taking this in slow sips. I'm up to date with Beyond the Bar. I was honestly really conflicted about enjoying this after learning about the main actor's past. I still don't know how to feel about it but I'm enjoying the pace, structure and plot immensely. I was starting to feel sorry for her ex-boyfriend. "Who's opposing counsel?" Errr.... your ex-girlfriend... again. Are there no other lawyers in Seoul? There's some storyline/intricate plan involving ex-managing directors at the law firm but my brain is honestly too tired to try and work it out.
