Note in PG rating from before 1984: there wasn't a PG-13 rating yet so if a movie wasn't sexy or gory enough to be R rated it was PG. I learned this when I showed Jaws to my children thinking that it must not be too graphic if it was PG....

2024-11-03 14:36:19 +0000 UTCMy childhood trauma was from Leprechaun and the original Halloween movie. My dad let me watch them WAY too young. Also he hid under my bed after watching Leprechaun and grabbed my leg. After that nothing was ever left dangling off the bed. I slept covering myself with every blanket I had so if I was stabbed in bed the blankets would take the blade. 😅 my mom would have to come in every night and uncover me because I would be drenched in sweat.
