Friday Madness Day

Hi all I am making this post with data as we currently are in a power outage due to a high wind advisory.

We get these occasionally and due to the fire risk in our area. I appreciate the proactive measures even though it is annoying. That said what are you all watching today, I am loving a virtuous business and I’m finally hoping to make good on my deep desire to start blackout. I apologize for the lower caps. I am doing voice texting in an area that has one bar of cell service lol

Looking forward to seeing what everyone is up to, and hopefully your day is a little less chaotic than mine. :-)

Having made it through watching both Love Next Door and No Gian No love on the drop and swearing I wouldnt watch live ones till they had fully dropped in future, I am currently spell bound and waiting with baited breath for the final episode of What comes after love. theres such depth and so much in this one. I think when it finishes I will immediately re-watch it. Meanwhile I am watching A Virtuous business and loving it, and I am watching Family by Choice and enjoying that a lot too. And I will have to wait!!! Oh well. So much content to catch up on and I had to watch more live ones!

So with you on the Third Charm, if you make it to the end and recommend it, I'll give it another go. I really liked the actors it was just the characters (especially his character) I was finding wearing. if you can hold off on What Comes After Love I would, it's so hard to wait for it!

Hope everyone's power is back on! I'm kind of floating this week, not really committed to anything. I finished Good Partner and I'm with Cate, this was a good one. Dramas set in law firms aren't usually my fave but I'm glad I watched this one. Just a treat to see the two FLs get to dig into meaty roles and carry the story all the way through. They killed it. I'm dipping in and out of Third Charm. I like the two lead actors but some things about their characters are annoying, like when the romantic conflict is based on being petty and passive aggressive (especially him). So I wandered off for a couple of days but I came back because I do like them and there's nothing strongly pulling me away. Seems like the question being set up is if opposites attract can work out or if it's destined to implode and send each of them into the arms of their clearly more compatible alternative love interests. The side plots with Lee Sang Yi as the friend and Park Gyu Young as the sister are still my favorite parts. Finished my rewatch of Alchemy of Souls S2 and have many thoughts! Which I may just keep inside my head bc I don't know that I'm up to typing an entire essay on my phone or subjecting anyone else to all that 😅. Started Hard to Find, which is filling my 'Calgon, take me away!' void. It's a mini wuxia with 24 minute eps. The ML fits nicely into the goth hole in my heart left by Jang Uk, he broods and swishes around in black robes. We again have our brighter hero dressed in white/pale blue vying for the FL's heart, he's a bit more of a rebel than Seo Yul which makes me like him more. FL is very beautiful but doesn't remember anything past three years ago so still waiting for her true self to be revealed. Also started House of Ninjas. It's fun, I like it. This is more what I expected from Moving - the family dynamic and legacy is strong, there are for real action scenes and some emotional angst but also comedic lightness. Watching with the kids (sort of) so going a bit slowly. They're busy now that they're big, hard to pin them down when they're not grounded! Tempted to hold off watching the latest episode of What Comes After Love until the final drops. We'll see if my willpower lasts.
