I’m watching 4 Minutes and so is Megan. There is a “sultrier” option which is highly amusing.
Amy is double fisting It’s Okay That’s Love and No Gain, No Love and so far really enjoying both.

It's been a slow drama week for me. Work has taken up every available braincell and then I got ill! For some reason I decided to finally watch Fight for my Way whilst ill in bed. I binged 10/16 episodes in two days. What a *delightful* drama and so funny to see so many familiar faces and cast members from Queen of Tears. I laughed out loud when Kim ji-won's loser boyfriend turned out to be Kwak Dong Yeon, the actor who played her loser brother in QoT. And her dad was her dad-in-law in QoT. Anyway, I'm loving this friends to lovers story. PSJ at his best when playing comedy drama. The main leads have amazing chemistry and, as much as I like martial arts, I don't enjoy blood and violence. There hasn't been much so far; I'm hoping there won't too much more in the last 6 episodes. A film called Officer Black Belt caught my eye on Netflix and it was just what I felt like tonight. Something short and not requiring too much brain power. Now, I've never seen Kim Woo Bin in anything but I completely understand the hype. Like Woo Do Hwan's character in Bloodhounds (same writer) KWB plays an absolute cinnamonroll with a dash of innocence and naivety trapped in the extremely attractive body of a tall, very talented martial artist. *fans self* I did not expect to be so invested in every character in such a short film. The main leads are so charismatic, you just root for them for the beginning. This is short compared to a series, so don't expect complicated twists and sophisticated characterisation. There are Black and white heroes and villains here and at times it edges towards the cheesy (actual high fives and team fist bumps) but I loved the characters so much, I'm willing to overlook it. The villains are truly reprehensible and at times the film edges towards the extremely dark. I think the actress who plays the little girl was also in a particularly grim episode of Taxi Driver 2. The fight scenes were really well choreographed. Film was a bit darker and more violent than what I'd expected but these are well balanced by some hilarious visual gags (the mannequin's leg, the gochujang and the miranda rights written on his hand) altogether I'd recommend it.
