I’m watching and loving Midnight Romance in Hagwon, but I’m more slammed than usual and it’s now BTS Festa Time so I’ll be marinating in content for the next week. 💜
What are you all watching? I’m ready to deep dive into more dramas and pick back up Lovely Runner?

My stand in above Wandee Goodday? I am an episode behind on My Stand In, and I guess it has more plot. But less likable characters

It's on Tubi, so lots of commercials, but I am really enjoying it as something very different from the more fluffy and trope-laden k dramas that I have been watching. Not to say that I don't like fluffy and tropey dramas. Earlier in the week I did watch Are you human too? That one was fantastic and I never felt tired of it, and I just gobbled it up. Thanks to everyone who recommended it to me.

2024-06-08 17:48:14 +0000 UTCThis week has been about me trying to fill the self imposed hole that Love Like the Galaxy left in my heart. I decided to pause after part one because I was afraid of burning out on it, but finding a replacement show has been difficult to say the least. I tried Till the End of the Moon, but couldn’t make it further than 20 minutes because of the bad CGI. Then I tried Joy of Life, but eight episodes in, I realized I wasn’t actually caring about anyone and decided to move onto Ashes of Love. I gave up after three episodes. The FL was way too ditzy for me. AND THEN I tried out Nirvana in Fire. I’m now 20 episodes in and blowing through it!!! It feels like a cdrama historical take on The Count of Monte Cristo. Face changing trauma, beautiful costumes, extremely smart main lead. What’s not to love?! Here’s my currently watching (sort of) from this would be top shelf if it was a liquor to this would only be good as a sanitizer if it was liquor: Love Like the Galaxy (the hangover that this show left me with after only finishing part one has to make it my current number one) Nirvana in Fire (a show that can fill the hole left by LLTG deserves the number two spot. Absolutely enjoying!) My stand In (a contract was made in the last episode, and I’m such a sucker for contract relationships) Wandee Good Day (oh my sweet sweet boys who continually inch closer to kissing but don’t. What was up with that flour fight btw??? Such a mess to clean up.) Midnight Romance… (I’m a little behind, but this show lives rent free in my head, so I’m still including it, and plan to catch up this weekend) 100 Days My Prince (I’m banging my head against a wall. I hate the villain so much!) Dark Blue Kiss (this is a good buddy watch show for sure!) Missing Crown Prince (this show should have been shorter, still invested though) We Are (the show is stuck in a plot point that’s lasted three episodes at this point and should have taken one at most. 🥲)
