I binged 3 Body Problem this week but am also hooked hard by Queen of Tears. I decided to risk it and so far no regrets!

I sometimes thought I was being too much of a hater on Wedding Impossible, but hearing your take makes me feel validated. 😂😂

Maybe if they didn't ever start her in a school uniform I could have done it but I could not unsee the school uniform with a man who looks like he's in his 40s. I ended up watching it for the Reaper and Sunny characters which is a sublime storyline.

2024-04-07 20:50:21 +0000 UTCI just started Goblin for the first time and... I don't know, y'all. I don't care that he's 930 years older than her bc he's frozen at a certain age. But casting an actor who imo looks 45 years old does not help. That particular actor just has kind of a rugged face that skews older to me. Would have been better to cast a more youthful looking actor, especially if they are going to keep the FL in high school uniforms most of the time. I love the idea of the show and I like many things about it but I'm not sold on them.

Will join the chat Finished Wedding Impossible, which I had originally dropped but you guys gave me FOMO so I picked it back up, but it never improved for me (I should have listened to Gavin LOL). The cameos were fun, and I don't regret finishing it, cos it was short and now I know how I feel about it - deeply meh. It could have been so much better. I'm 2/3rds into I Remember You/Hello Monster, and Park Bo Gum is PROPER CREEPY> IYKYK. Seo In Guk is good in this but I feel we're still in the early era of his magic. I love the craziness of Jang Na Ra as the FL. And overall, I have NO IDEA what is happening, what happened and what is going to happen. Which I love from a mystery thriller. Up to date with The Midnight Studio, agree with Erin re: the delivery guy making me cry and needing his own lead role in a drama, I LOVE HIM (also SML from My Lovely Liar). Enjoying it so far. I've also started Sungkyungkwun Scandal, which as anyone listens to us on Afternoona Asks is one of Grace's faves. It's a cross dressing Joseon drama from AGES ago, so old that Song Joong Ki is a SECOND lead and has a super young, pre-so much plastic surgery Park Min Young. And her mum is Kim Mi Kyung (cos of course, I think I'm on my 6th KMK as a mum drama just this year!) I will also be starting Lovely Runner, which had me at time travel romcom, but also the I loved the ML from Moonshine (an ok historical with my fave Yoo Seung Ho and Hyeri), where he was the SML - fingers crossed this gives me the RomCom vibes I've been wanting all of 2024 but haven't gotten yet
