2023-11-27 21:53:24 +0000 UTCI'm still deep into my Castaway Diva feels, it's probably going to end up in my top 5 or 3, this show has my all heart. I can understand some people have quibbles with PEB's acting but I really enjoy it, my favourite role of hers from Age of Youth/Hello my Twenties was very over the top, cute and bright and I'm happy to see her in a similar role again. There might also be something about satoori being associated to only comedic characters because Seoul Korean is the most represented accent in kdrama ? I don't know enough about accent politics in SK but I was wondering. I made a lot of progress with Twinkling Watermelon and getting more invested with all these characters every episodes, I highly recommend this show, the firsts episodes are pretty sad but the rest of the show feels like a warm hug 🫂
