Classic K-Dramas

From a listener:

What are your classic KDramas from 2005 - 2013?

I've watched Coffee Prince (loved, in my top 3) and Secret Garden but I know there's others as good. What have you watched and recommend from 10-15 years ago.

Boys Over Flowers is must-see viewing. It is the basis for so much of what we see in K dramas now. There's a reason why it's on every streaming channel. It also has the best looking male cast members of any program.

I am gonna share the first Kdramas that I watched. they are really classic and could be responsible for the first hallyu wave in Asia . However they are from before 2005. 1) Winter Sonata - 2002. This is super classic and One of the ducklings went to meet the FL who also started in another classic Stairway to Heaven. 2) Autumn in My Heart - 2000. This show propelled Song Hye Kyo I think. And a Korean heart throb at that time Won Bin. 3) Hotelier 2001. FL is the villain woman in K2. Also starring Song Hye Kyo as a supporting actress. Beyond This I love Fated to Love You (2014), My Lovely Sam Soon (2005) - featuring Kim Sun Ah & young Hyun Bin, The King 2 Hearts (2012) - a fictional South Korean prince marrying a North Korean soldier - crazy but addictive, Witch’s Romance (2014) - noona romance with Park Seo Jun, Shut Up Flower Boy Band (2012) - love this show. It’s about a high school band trying to make it in the music industry. Lee min ki oozes leading man charisma, Sung Joon, Kim Min Seok, L and Jo Bo ah - also I remember the OST to be catchy.
