What Do I Do Now?

What's the last show that left you with a hangover? I haven't recovered from My Beautiful Man. I know I need to move on BUT I ALSO DON'T WANT TO.

Lovestruck in the City is definitely a twist on the genre in a few ways. It doesn't quite come off, but almost. However the early episodes at the beach are really so good. After Healer (obviously), I loved JCW in If You Wish Upon Me and also The K2, which is a bit mental but he is great.

I've had lots of hangovers but my current one is Lovestruck in the City which I had no expectations going into. It was the first thing I ever saw JCW in and I generally love Kim Ji Won, I know it's not a "traditional kdrama" and more western style which at times felt a little off but overall I really liked it. The beach story is such a dreamy fantasy that it makes up for how much I don't like the FL when she returns to Seoul. It's so sad because of I love the premise that she tried on a new identity while away and now has to face the reality of what that means to have the reality exposed and who she wants to be, it just felt like it had a lot of rich possibility but I don't think it reached it's potential. No matter what this sent me down a JCW rabbit hole that I'm not out of but I keep coming back to certain scenes in this drama. Also I do love the other couples and some of the beautiful cinematography.
