Continue at your own risk. Spoilers ahead for SEE YOU IN MY 19th LIFE....
First let's start with the basics...SURPRISE. It's Amy, NOT Megan. I tried staying up last night (after some wine and snacks with the girls) waiting for ep. 12 of SEE YOU IN MY 19th LIFE to drop. But alas, the wine won out, and I fell asleep. But the first thing I did this morning when I sat down with my coffee was cue up the final episode, and I just finished.
Folks...what did this drama do to me, and did it do it to you too? I loved Ahn Bo-Hyun the first time I saw him in HER PRIVATE LIFE. And he was the best, emotionally boo-booed villain in ITAEWON CLASS. I first met Shin Hye-Sun in LEGEND OF THE BLUE SEA, and while MR. QUEEN wasn't my favorite drama, she was fabulous in it. But this drama...their chemistry...the exquisite ensemble, including Ha Yoon-Kyung, Ahn Dong-Goo, and Cha Chung-Hwa? It has done things to me.
Did you finish? Did you love it? Was 12 episodes enough? Have you read the webtoon? Even if you're happy with the ending (as I am), do you have logistical questions as to what happens to Ban Ji-Eum after the final ritual on the bridge? Where does she go? Does she know why she's holding the bells? How far back do her memories retreat? Why does she remember some parts of Ji-Eum's life but not others? And most importantly, are you having an Ahn Bo-Hyun moment and demanding that we see more of him as an emotionally boo-booed romantic lead?
