Announcements!

Hey guys!  So, I said yesterday and a couple days there'd be some announcements, and they're here!

You guys here on Patreon will be the first to know, I am changing my approach to how extra figures in a commission are handled.  Before I just did what kinda felt right, but that's not quite making up for the actual effort put into the commissions, especially with the high influx of colored commissions.  So, I'm adjusting extra figures to be half the original commission price, plus about $5.  

What does this actually mean?  First, it means extra figures for monochrome aren't changing--they're already priced according to this new rule.  But, what this does mean is that the price of extra figures on colored sketches will be raising up to $20 per extra figure.  This will affect the price of the 2 character colored sketch tier; instead of $50, it will be $55. The Mermaid tier will stay the same (you'll be getting all the good extras for just $5 more now!)

This change will take effect at the beginning of May, to give everyone some time to adjust, but it will be changing then.

Other stuff!  The plan is to still add the Illustration slot in March--a lot of the delay is because I really have to get that still lingering character sheet done first and foremost, so that there's nothing holding people up.  I will delay it longer if needs be--this is because the plan when the slot opens is to get the illustration slot done the same month it's commissioned, which is why I can't have the two overlapping at the same time.

There has been some confusion on the tickets, especially after the tier split, and I feel that's my fault and I should clarify.  Tickets are sent to the message box on Patreon--since this month has been chaotic, I'm going back to waiting until the 3rd of the month to send them.  A lot of people's payments didn't clear until after the 1st, so I missed a lot of people.
Also, patreon tickets cannot pay to make up the difference between their's and another tier.  I used to let people do this before the split since there wasn't a solo / 2 character tier difference, but now I can't do this any more.  This isn't because I'm incapable of it; the tiers and amount of slots are set up to what I can handle, and get done in a reasonable time.  What I can handle for 2 character colored sketches is 6 in a given month, and not more.  So I'm sorry guys, that's just the way things are for now.  If for whatever reason I have more people wanting to commission through patreon than through other sites that might change, but I know a lot of people don't like to be locked into the patreon format, so here we are.  *shrug*

I'll add this to the commission rules at the top of the page to help with the confusion!

Now that the unfun stuff is out of the way, now comes the fun thing!  So!  Patreon days will now be moving from Friday to Wednesday!  Yay!  But why, you may ask?  I worked out a schedule, and Wednesday will allow me to stream in the evening, rather than in the morning, so that more people can enjoy!  I'll be updating and prepping still in the morning, but from 3/4 - 6ish at night (6-8ish?  Eastern time I believe), I will be streaming!  I hope to see you guys then!  Does that mean I won't maybe still have the long ass streams on Fridays?  Maybe.  But I think in the long run this will allow more of you to come join me while drawing up the patreon stretch goals. ^O^
