Weekend Watch

I should have been writing this week. I have a novella due next week (I need about 20K words) and guess how many I have written so far? 500. Yes, 500 words. Am I panicking yet? No, but I probably should be.

So what are we watching? I'm caught up with Joseon Attorney: A Morality, and I'm even more in love with Woo Do Hwan. It's not the best drama I've ever seen but it's fun and twisty and WDH is amazing. True to Love has given me the ick and I might drop it. This week, I watched The Eighth Sense (amazing), Unintentional Love Story (so cute) and also rewatched Dance With Me. (See why I didn't get any writing done???)

Lea: Eighth Sense

Amy: Extraordinary You

What are you all watching?

I'll try Sh**ting Stars again based on your recommendation, thanks.

Almost done rewatching Sh**ting Stars and I still love it a year later. The romance is finally romancing in True to Love. First episode of Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 is the wacky action adventure I was hoping for and my Doldam fam is serving me everything (romance, found family, personal and professional stakes) in Dr. Romantic 3.

Two episodes through Dr. Romantic, and I’m not sold on it yet. It’s mainly the characters that are kind of turning me off to it. Agreed on Dr. Kim Roy! I’m torn if I want him to get together with Dr. Cha or not.

I watched Something in the Rain this week. More than a bit in love with Jung Hae In, especially in this role. Perhaps the writers missed a trick or 2 in the back half, but worth it for him. I also loved the reversal of the slow burn waiting for the couple to get together, the getting together happened fast and their scenes together were lovely. The heroine just had so much hardship. (Also, based on their chemistry there must have been crazy dating rumours about JHI and Son Ye-Jin and she ended up with Hyun Bin, well played SYJ) Started Dr Romantic, I do love YYS. However I don't love the show finding it all a bit heavy handed and too much infighting. I'm up to episode 7 I'll probably keep going at this point and grit my teeth a bit. Also enjoying Dr Cha, I think the writers have set it up well. Every chance I'll be inviting Dr Kim Roy to join "the boyfriends", he is lovely. I'm really hoping they explore the difference between him being an American and a Korean, plus there'll be an adoption story to explore too. I am over Dr Cha's husband, the actor is way too over the top for my tastes. I've been recommended When the Weather is Fine and One Spring Night, so a few to try. (I'm a fan of the "slow drama")
