What is everyone watching? I’m caught up on Curtsin Call. I’m honestly not sure where it’s going - or if the love situation is going where I want it - but I’m really enjoying. Kang Ha Neul is perfectly cast in this. I have to catch up on Love is For Suckers and otherwise I’m in the market for recs! There are a lot of good choices so I’m all ears…

hmmm I just assumed that Viki was app-based only and that it couldn't be used on the website, so I've been viewing on my phone or tablet only. But based on your comment, I just tried it on my laptop and it works! This is a game changer!

2022-11-29 12:55:41 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, my computer is so old that it will no longer take iOS updates. After Viki upgraded themselves, I can't watch on my laptop. I've gotten pretty much caught up on LIFS, but it's hard to watch on my phone. I'm also trying to watch If You Wish Upon Me on my phone, and I'm re-trying the Arthdal Chronicles because my boy Lee Joon Gi is in the second season. His photos on set are INSANELY tasty. Thank goodness I'm going to buy a new laptop at Christmas when I'm visiting my folks in the US. I CAN WATCH VIKI AGAIN!!!! (Explanation for those of you who are questioning why I'm waiting until I'm in the US to buy a computer: I would buy a new laptop here, but in order to get an English keyboard, it would cost me an extra 500 Euros (!!!!). So, I'm buying one in the US! The German keyboard is super different! Extra letters--ä, ö, ü, ß-- and and the z and y are switched and the symbols and punctuation marks don't correspond with the same numbers as on an English keyboard--I just can't handle it.)

2022-11-28 03:34:17 +0000 UTCI am now up to date on LIFS, and mostly liking it. Although, there's a little too much of rescue the princess going on. It would be better with less. Watched first ep of Reborn Rich, and I plan to continue. I haven't made any progress on Little Women, but only because of going out of town for holiday. And because I can't get enough of BTS, I'm going to buy Bon Voyage Season 3 this week. It's dark and damp and I need a pick-me-up.

2022-11-27 23:07:54 +0000 UTCSo I fell into the Thai BL rabbit hole. I started watching Big Dragon. First episode was WTF! Then I delved into others while waiting for BD episodes. I started with cutie Pie, and went in to the TharnType world without watching it first. I watched Why R U, because I liked 2 of the actors. Then went to TharnType and now am on the 7 years of love. I have to say I adore this couple. I still intend to continue my Park SEO Young watch. I was trying to watch Dream High 2, because that was his debut. But it just well I don't know that I can handle it. I feel cringy because of some of the characters. I think it's the writing. I also want to watch I think it's Connect on Disney +.

I saw the first two episodes yesterday and I'm rewatching them today, I didn't feel like watching anything else. It's like When the weather is fine, summer ver., and I'll all for it ☺️ Other than that, I'm still halfway through Chief Kim and watching May I help you every week.

2022-11-27 15:28:36 +0000 UTCHad very little KDrama time (!) but finished Little Women which I really loved even if the ending left me feeling a bit wanting. But what a stylish, brilliantly acted drama. I also watched 1 movie on the plane (they didn’t have a good selection unfortunately 😞)- Hit and Run Squad which I chose solely for it’s cast - Gong Hyo Jin (Camelia), Ryu Jeon Yeol (Reply 1988), Jo Jung Suk (Hospital Playlist) and Son Seok Goo (My liberation notes) - sadly a disappointing, overlong and cliched waste of its amazing cast

2022-11-27 14:08:26 +0000 UTCI finished the Law Cafe (super cute and almost no court room scenes!) and just started Under the Queen’s Umbrella, which has been fantastic. The female lead is just so kick ass (along with her eyebrows), it’s fun to watch her storming around the palace.

2022-11-27 12:42:32 +0000 UTCI have kept up with Love is for Suckers....wondering how they will drag out the story for 2 more episodes, tying up the bits. Curtain Call is a slower go for me; I am only still watching to see what happens when/if the real grandson arrives. Reborn Rich is ok, as is Cheer Up. If I don't watch them until there are more episodes out, that's alright. I found Work Later, Drink Now and binged it, On Demand Korea. I am going back on Disney+ to watch those shows that FINALLY showed up for Canada, like Crazy Love, Big Mouth, Soundtrack #1.

2022-11-27 00:31:08 +0000 UTCI’m making my way through the second half of Reply 1988. It really does feel like the perfect winter drama. I know I’ll want something with a faster pace next, but for now I’m just enjoying what is clearly the quintessential slice of life drama. I’m also keeping my fingers crossed that I won’t stumble across any spoilers in the next week - kdrama gods, don’t let me down.

2022-11-26 23:14:59 +0000 UTCI’m watching Curtain Call but I’m only up to episode 5 or 6. I was expecting the show to be kind of depressing, but so far, the intentions of the characters are mostly good. I’m getting an Ocean’s 11 vibe from the show and part of me is wondering if maybe Grandma is already on to the con and simply enjoying Kang Ha Neul’s company (who wouldn’t!). I guess I’ve been busy this week because I completely forgot to tune in to Love is for Suckers – I’ll try to catch up tonight. I’ve been looking forward to The Fabulous, with Chae Soo-Bin and Minho, but it looks like the release date has been postponed until Jan 1st. 😞
