In the game, Durge was the MVP of the group if chosen, so the party could be convinced to ignore his bloody problem. But here, with Tav being the heart of the team, I can't imagine the others being quite as willing to keep tolerating his presence if he actually kills a guest of the fellowship. Then again, this huge internal crisis might also rise the tension of the story as the group's bond is truly tested. I can see it going either way. We'll see.
