It’s just a world where being straight is irrelevant and women are barely barely a whisper and that’s not a bad thing. it’s fine. It’s good. It’s amazing, actually.”

I think K and P will have drama because that’s the game but whatever our two dads will be fine and I bet get married. Vegas and Pete…look no one is surprised I root for whatever the hell they do. I’m a mess for that ship. Lololol

I actually have more hope for Vegas and Pete - can we just have tons of them living in domestic bliss? I want to know more about Time and Tey too. Can you believe Barcode was only 16/17 when working on the show? He did such a great job.

2022-08-04 14:39:58 +0000 UTCGreat pod this week! I was laughing out loud and earning some serious side glances from my husband. (Kinn’s eyebrows. The marbles. The hedgehog. I’m dying!) For the show itself, I have mixed feelings. I binged it after seeing significant spoilers, and I think that made it hard for me to turn off my rational brain and fully get into the world. For me, the problematic non-consent was tough. The Vegas/Pete Stockholm Syndrome… also tough. Somehow I came out rooting for them like everyone else, but Vegas is tough for me to like. (The actor and the couple’s chemistry are off the charts though.) I will be rooting for justice for Kim/Chay (in the sweetest, most age appropriate way) from now until season 2. I loved them. I loved Tankhun. I was so invested by the last episode, I actually said “WTF” out loud when the I saw the mom was alive. In the end, I am both all in and WTF on this drama. It is definitely still on my mind a ton!

The other day I was listening to a different KP podcast and they talked a lot about Tawan being a victim of manipulation and they HATED Kinn. It was interesting to hear such different opinions. All the characters were flawed and I found it weird that they singled Kinn out as terrible. Also I recently rewatched the show and Tawan was simply terrible and knew what he was doing the whole time. Megan and Lia, your comments about everyone being gay made me laugh. I have been watching so much BL that part was felt completely normal to me. In season 2 I want to see the dads (K&P) happy and I want to see Time and Tey's story and hope that there is a happy resolution for them somehow. Also Happy Birthday to Barcode, the actor that plays Chay. He is officially 18.

2022-08-04 11:48:06 +0000 UTCI will go on record as both “all in” *and* “wtf is this” when it comes to KinnPorsche. The more “wtf” it became as the series unfolded, the more all in I was. Really learned a lot about myself. All the pet stuff? Into it! The “maybe cousins” reveal? Into it! Kim taking a drag on the fire escape after leaving 6 dead bodies for Chay to find? Really into it! I am devastated KinnPorsche is over. I spend an inordinate amount of time looking for KinnPorsche watch threads on Twitter just to feel something again. This show did a number on me, I tell you what.

2022-08-04 07:28:21 +0000 UTCI feel like I'm going to HAVE to finally watch this series because it's such a hot topic! And the way it's described just has me thinking there's a decent amount of it that I will find ridiculous, yet amazing... and I'm all in for that.
