Thanks for the shout-out! Loved the episode πŸ˜‚β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

Like my comments on the Tsundere thread, I’ll be repeating some of the examples already listed but can hopefully add some new ones to the mix. The North Korean Ahjummas from CLOY immediately came to mind, and it was great to see them bringing Yoon Se-ri into their circle as well. I loved the friendship between Na Young-won and her sunbae, Yeo Eui-ju on Monthly Magazine Home. YEJ gave NYW excellent advice and I loved how she stuck for NYW to the very-Tsundere CEO Yoo Ja-seung. Do Bong Soon’s friendship with Na Kyung-shim. The three female leads in Search WWW didn’t necessarily start out as friends, but I loved their respective arcs as well as the growth of their friendship. The inimitable Goo Se-ra got great support/advice from her girlfriends in Into the Ring. Choi Ae-ra and Baek Seol-hee in Fight for My Way. And definitely the girl fans in BTIMFL and Weightlifting Fairy KBJ.

Even more than enemies-to-lovers, my catnip is enemies-to-friends. I love those turnarounds. Bong-Hee just declaring that she’s moving in with her ex’s replacement girlfriend? Ju-Ri getting drunk with Mun-Young? That shit kills me.

Our Beloved Summer’s Yeon Soo and Sol Yi from Our Beloved Summer. Sol Yi provided that constant friendship that Yeon Soo needed. Also the too brief friendship that forms between Sae Byeok and Ji Yeong in Squid Games. It was bittersweet but for me a highlight of the series.

The girl gang in because this is my first life is the best part of that drama

The ahjumma's in Reply 1988 had my whole heart. They are soul sisters. Those are real friends, real relationships, just everything. They are goals, for sure.

Megan Erickson

The ahjumma friends in Reply 1988 (pictured) are my all-time favorites!!! Runners up are the North Korean village women in Crash Landing on You, the three friends in Go Back Couple, all the women in tale of Nokdu (both secret village women and gisaengs).

the girlfriends in Because this is my first life, I love them as well as towards the end Mr Queen, Court Lady Choi and her maid

All the friends in Melo is My Nature moving in to take care of grieving Eun Jung. The scene when she finally tells them she's not ok and they all hug her and are so relieved she's finally asking for help destroys me. Also the women in Romance is A Bonus Book when they form a bond after clubbing getting drunk and sharing their stories, and support one another afterwards.

I'm a sucker for school friendships when the girls aren't even close, but they cover for each other in class and take each others' food without asking. Reply 1988 shows this so well with the Duk Sun and the top student with somewhat-secret epilepsy. We never see them bonding or building a friendship but there is an understanding that they would share homework and take each other to the hospital. Just because they spent all day together, they were the closest of friends without any outward signs of affection. This sort of thing rarely shows up in dramas, because it doesn't make a lot of sense - but having attended a tiny school (graduating class had 12 people) this was my experience - doing assignments together as soon as teachers walked out of the room and yelling at the principal but only on someone else's behalf - and I love seeing it on screen.

I second the Swag team from weightlifting fairy!

Jodi Guira

Weightlifting Fairy (Swag!), Hometown ChaCha (the creepy patient incident!) and all the many scenes of the court maids in Red Sleeve stand out in my mind.

Lorna

ShiWon & YooJung from Reply 97 are the best fangirl duoπŸ₯° But also the 5 girls from Age of Youth/Hello My Twenties were pretty great at supporting each other.
