SHELTER v8 - the Gallery Build
Added 2020-10-29 17:22:13 +0000 UTCSo it's here! The gallery build month! I think I've implemented most of the gimmicks I wanted already. I'll play around with the Story Tree sometime next month or the month after that and then we'll really have everything : ]
Because of the gallery, the new story content is shorter this month, at 7k words. Still, quite a lot happens!
To see ALL the new story content, check out the bath scene after you have convinced Alon to join you too : ]
So, the new things are...
- a hecking GALLERY! Unlocks when you reach the end of your playthrough, either by reaching the end of the current story content or by visiting any of the Darkest Corners
- the Gallery has 5 sections implemented so far. Characters, Locations, Items, Events and Music. Check them out! Unlock all the things!
- this build introduces the use of a notification message thingy in the top left corner of the screen. Now you get a popup when the time passes to a new phase of the day, when you receive an item or something. It'll find a lot more use in the future.
- composed one more music tune, Chill Chat.
- Burry, Rune, Max and Alon all got new facial expressions. Burry and Max got naked sprites. Rune's clothed sprite has more fuzz around the neck now :3
- I drew some more assets, like that green bottle you'll see in the baths
- Implemented the Fanarts showcase thing in the Credits screen <3

2020-11-21 18:18:36 +0000 UTCRune's Mana Balls are important because they unlock some pretty cool scenes. :] In the Early Morning practice some patience and DON'T Whack Rune when he pesters you in Mana Vision ;) For the Kitchen's Mysterious Figure look right after Luke's eyes recover after the onion blur. 2020-11-18 07:11:00 +0000 UTCYou downloaded the "com.patreon.raus-8-universal-release.apk" file, right? I just tried and was able to install. The fixes that worked for people in the past were: 1 - see if you have enough free memory space on your phone, because android isn't always clear about that 2 - download the file again. Sometimes a wrong click makes you download the file as an archive (happened once to someone). Make sure that the file you have downloaded is an APK extension.
