Status report

I'm done with the most things that I planned for this patch, in terms of animations and events.

There's quite some work to do with putting in missing texts for new interactions and triggers though... I want to revisit the whole phase-3 "numbers part", where all stats changes occur.

Right now, if you leave Gloria alone, she'll basically corrupt herself, piling up events and stats, with very little interaction needed from the player. I made it that way because of how fragmented the development of phase-3 was, to not stagger the players with too much grind for unfinished content. Jesus, some of those early events are over a year old! Now when I have enough activities for Gloria, this has to be adjusted.

The goal is:

• to create limits to which her current activity can lower her stats at each stage of it;
• make each activity somewhat useful and specialized, to motivate players to change them from time to time, instead of setting her to one, waiting for the whole chain to finish, then setting her to another one;
• make the start of phase-3 a little bit harder, to incite players to let Gloria rest from time to time;
• spread out new and already existing content more evenly (edit all triggers), to avoid "mood swings" between different events that are at different stages;
• waste everyone's fucking time doing this 🥴

Once it's all done, I'll see what parts of phase-3 are missing, and maybe add an animation or two here and there.

After that, I'll create the first part of the transition-to-phase-4 event, with a new model for Gloria. It's gonna be more like a little showcase, 1-2 animations maximum. I want to test the waters before committing to her new looks. You'll be able to voice your opinions. And if by the time I'll start making the next patch, humanity started colonizing the moon, I might even listen to them. Go, humanity!

Jokes aside, we will have a poll regarding this important matter.

All in all, I'll aim to get the patch ready by the end of December.

There probably will be another patron-only post regarding progress, and then a public patch-notes post, followed by a $10 release, as usual, but we'll see...
