Hey there! (;-_-)ノ
Yeah, the last post was 10 days ago, that's kinda a lot.
Lats weekend I spent doing my own IRL stuff, and then during the week it was a rare case of "so much physical work, that the only thing I want is to lay down and not even watch anything". Most of it is done, probably gonna need another day or two.
On top of that, the bigger part of what I was doing for the game had nothing to show really: lots of walking in circles around my room, then putting 10 lines of code in. This is how inventing too many correlating calculations at once works, apparently. Most of the stats are in place right now, but I will need to expand on that as I move forward.
This weekend I've started doing events, finally. The first one is a chain to upgrade your office a bit, while humiliating Gloria more, of course.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hope I can finish both animations and dialogues before Monday.
Next thing to do: I need to write Gloria's workplace and several new spy-cameras.
The way events will probably work from now on is half-passive. Like with an egg-vibrator earlier, but with less repeating the mostly-same stuff:
You see and read the starting scene, then it moves to either being a background of your office or to the spy-camera. Once Gloria's stats drop enough, or some other conditions are met, you see the next part of the chain and background\camera change what they are showing.
Some direct actions will stay, but I will try to tie more event-chains to the camera now, instead of forcing player to read (or, most likely, skip) the same event several times.
I will have more details once I actually do some of that, not just write what I think is better.
I guess that's all for now, see you later!
Back to work! ( ᐛ )و
