Two reasons. One is that they're not something I intend to have in the final story, as in what I would publish if I ever reach that point. Second is that they will be odd lengths, whereas the chapters I post on Royal Road I try to keep consistent. I should note that they'll be available to free tier as well, not just paid. I just don't really want to post them on RR.
