''Can we get a table for two please?'' Ava asked.

The waitress took us to a table near the back. We sat down and looked at the menu.

''This is quite a fancy place, I was expecting some sort of burger drive thru,'' I said.

Ava laughed. ''You are a movie star now. You can't be eating burgers in some fast food restaurant.''

I chuckled, ''Right, of course. This place looks great. How did you find it?''

Ava looked at the menu, ''Well, Hugo is friends with the owner so sometimes we come here when we are done with work.''

''That's cool, so what is good here?''

She closed the menu and leaned over the table a bit, showing a bit of cleavage, ''The cheeseburger is really good here, and so are the fries.''

She smiled, ''Aww, that is cute. And you have talent too, you are really good. But a Hugo Armand movie as your first big role?''

I laughed, ''I know right, it's crazy. But it is an honor working for him, and with his wife, too. I knew about his work and how crazy his movies can get but I just saw it as a good opportunity. My friend is a really big fan of Armand and it is mainly thanks to her that I found the audition.''

''Enjoy the food you two, if you need anything just ask,'' the waitress said.

''It looks amazing, this place is great!'' I said.

''I told you! It's a lot better than some fast food place.''

I started eating the burger, and it was delicious. ''So, how did you get to work for Hugo?'' I asked.

She took a sip from her drink. ''Well, it's a long story but like I told you before, I started out as an intern for Victoria's fashion brand. I always wanted to get into fashion and it's still my dream. And one day Hugo came to the office, and I had no idea who he was. He was wearing a really nice suit and had his sunglasses on. He introduced himself and started talking with Victoria. Victoria was really happy with me but she couldn't offer me a job at her brand. But Hugo offered me a job in the film industry as an assistant, which I was really grateful for and I took it. I've been doing it for a year now and it has been great, but to be really honest with you, I still want to pursue a career in the fashion industry. I have a YouTube channel and I post a lot of fashion related things on social media, but I haven't really been lucky in breaking into the business. But I hope that one day I can have my own fashion brand or something.''

That probably explained why she has so many followers on her Insta. It was really nice to hear her dream, and her ambition. She was definitely going places, and I would love to help her achieve her dream.

''Wow, that's an amazing story. And I think that if anyone can achieve their dream, it's you.'' I said.

She smiled at me, ''Thank you, I appreciate that. It's a big dream and I have to work hard.''

''So have you done any modeling or anything?'' I asked, I know she told me before that she doesn't want to be a model but I was just curious.

''Yes, I have, and sometimes still do. It's something that I like but not something that I want to do for the rest of my life. Modeling is hard and it can be quite superficial, you have to be careful about what you wear and how you look. I’d rather be behind the scenes to be honest,'' she replied.

I loved how honest and genuine she was. I met a lot of people around Hollywood who were not really who they claimed to be. Most people in this industry are only nice to you because they want something from you. But Ava seemed to be different and a genuine person.

''So, you are also a model?'' I said teasingly.

She chuckled, ''I wouldn't call myself that.''

''And I saw how many followers you have, so you are also an influencer,'' I continued teasing her.

''God, I hate that word, no!'' she said and we both laughed.

We ate our food and I had a great time. It was a good feeling to talk to her, it just felt natural. She was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. After we finished our food, the waitress came and cleaned the table.

''Was everything alright?''

Ava and I both agreed, and she brought the bill.

''Oh, this is on me. I know how Armand's contracts work so you will not get a paycheck any time soon, so this is on me. It's the least I can do, and I really enjoyed hanging out with you.'' Ava said.

''Thanks, but are you sure?''

She smiled at me and paid the bill, ''Yes, it's okay.''

''That is so kind of you, thank you so much. Next time I will pay!''

We left the restaurant and walked to the parking lot. We got into her jeep and continued our conversation. I was actually a bit disappointed when we arrived at the dorm because of how much I was enjoying my time with Ava.

''Thank you again for the food and the ride. I owe you!''

''No worries. It was fun hanging out with you. I'm glad I get to know you a bit more. I’ll see you tomorrow!'' Ava said.

We hugged each other and she drove off. It felt like I went on my first ever date, that's how happy I was feeling. But I realized that was a bit of a stretch. I didn't want to be that guy that thinks he's on a date while he was just having dinner with a colleague. Hell, I didn't even know if she had a boyfriend or not.

I hadn't checked my phone at all today, and when I entered the room, I had multiple text messages from Lucy. She asked why I wasn't home yet and she wanted to know how the filming went.

''Sorry, I didn't reply. I had dinner with a colleague.''

''Ohhhh, a colleague???? Are you in your dorm? Can I come?'' she replied.

''Yes, I just got back,'' I said.

Within a minute she was knocking on my dorm.

I chuckled, ''It's not a big deal, and not really a movie star yet.''

We both sat down on my couch and started talking.

''Who was that girl in the Jeep by the way?'' she asked.

''Are you spying on me?” I laughed.  “That's Ava. She's the assistant of Hugo.''

''Is she the colleague you were talking about?'' Lucy said with a wink.

''Yeah, I had dinner with her after the shooting today. It was a long day and we needed some food.''

She looked at me and put her hands on her chin. ''Are you guys a thing?''

I shook my head. ''No, we are not a thing. She is a friend, and a colleague. Nothing more, nothing less.''

''I'm teasing you,'' Lucy said and smiled.

It was a bit weird having the girl I had had a huge crush on talking to me like this in my room.

''So, how did the shooting go today? Did you get to kiss Victoria Stonefield again?''

I told her about the day, and she was very excited.

''Yeah, Simon is never going to believe this. Wow you are extremely lucky,'' Lucy said.

''It's just for the job'' I said.

She chuckled, ''Sure, the job. How are you not excited about kissing her? You've had a crush on her forever, and you are telling me you are not excited about it?''

She was right. I could play it off but the truth was, that it was very exciting and thrilling to kiss a woman like Victoria. It still felt like a dream.

''You still have to get me an autograph from Hugo,'' Lucy said.

''I thought I gave you that already?''

She looked confused, ''What? No, you didn't give me one.''

I grabbed my backpack and started searching through my bag. Fuck, I thought, I forgot to give it to her.

''Oh, shit, sorry. I'm so stupid. Here it is.'' I handed the piece of paper over and Lucy was excited.

''Thank you, thank you, thank you. You are the best!'' she said and she was genuinely happy.

I knew how much she liked Hugo Armand so this must have been a great gift for her.

''But how are things going with you? Any new auditions or anything?'' I asked.

''Yes, I have one next week, but it's not really special. It's for a small part in a tv series. But that's all the action I've had.''

''Hey, that's better than nothing. I'm happy for you, and I'm sure it's going to be great.'' I said.

''I also signed up for some modeling work, Brad told me about this agency and they have a lot of connections, so it could lead to something.''

Modeling? I mean she definitely had the looks for it. But it was very coincidental because I just talked with Ava about that.

''Victoria has a fashion brand, maybe you can do some modeling work for her,'' I suggested.

''James, you know that her brand is one of the biggest. I doubt she would hire me for a campaign. I'm just trying to make a living in this town, and you are already kissing one of the hottest actresses alive. The world is unfair.''

''You have the looks for it. Maybe I can ask her?''

Lucy looked at me, ''Do you think she would have a modeling job for me? That would be amazing.''

''I mean, I'm not sure. I don't really know her that well, but I can try.''

We talked a bit more before she left and I went to bed.

Wednesday and Thursday went by fairly quickly. Most of the filming that we did was dialogue scenes, and we were working with the script and learning the lines. ''What's going on, are we not filming today?'' I asked, surprised when I entered Hugo's office.

''No, we are still shooting today but with a lot less crew, because today we are filming a special scene. Let's wait on my wife so that I can explain.''

It was very weird and mysterious. I was wondering what scene they wanted to film, and why it was so special.

Not long after Victoria came into the office. ''I'm sorry that I'm late. Hey James! How are you doing today?'' she said and gave me a quick hug.

I blushed, ''I'm okay, and you?''

''Great, thanks. So, we are ready for the big scene, right honey?”

Hugo nodded, ''Yep, everything is ready. Okay James, so today we are going to shoot the first nude scene of the movie. Victoria and I have been thinking about this for a long time.
