I was 19 in 1978 when this came out. I really liked the anarchy of the film, especially John Baluchi, it was just a bit of fun. By then I was 3 years in the Armed Services, had long ago finished my training and legally able to drink. We'd do some crazy stuff sometimes, not like in the movie, but it was relief from the 'day job'. The antics are appealing to a relatively young mind. Now I'm in my 60's I still want to (and occasionally attempt to) do it, but recovery is long and usually painfull .......
