Episode 8: Sailing from Vancouver to San Francisco

We did it!!

We sailed from Vancouver to San Francisco! Not bad for people who didn't know how to sail just 6 months ago! We made 2 stops, one in Newport OR and the other in Fort Bragg CA. We had a great time, buddy boated with our friends from SV Essencia for the first leg of the trip and went solo for the rest of the way. We learned a lot, broke some stuff... RIP Gennaker and auto-helm.

Thank you so much for keeping up with our travels and for believing in us. We weren't sure if we could do the sail south given the fact that we just started sailing, but we made it and you guys didn't doubt us, not even for a second.
