Live-aboard Day 1
Added 2016-02-15 03:21:44 +0000 UTCToday, we moved the remaining of our things, our bikes and all, onto the boat.
The previous owner of the boat gave us a rundown of the various buttons, cables, switches of our new home.
We rode our bikes to Sidney to stock up on dried and fresh goods. We are presently moored in North Saanich, in a beautiful marina, surrounded by other vessels. It will be interesting to wake up tomorrow and know that this is not temporary; and that from now on, our days will be spent on the water.
We have been dreaming about today for months, and it's finally here. Tonight, we raise our glass to you.
Thank you for keeping us afloat.
