So I had to take a month off for my wrist, but now the term rewards are back! This is going to be a huge one with loooots of sketches and small paintings, as well as a redrawing of my old thief painting. This feels really special to me - the first time I painted her was one of my first bigger illustrations, and the first redraw I did (in 2016) got me my first ever concept art gig. This time it's almost as if I'm seeing the results of the whole journey that started there in 2016, and even though I wish I could have spent more time on it (as always) I'm really pleased with those results. I'll be making a video on that improvement and improvement in general next month along with the timelapse, but for now you guys will get the full process and step by step in a few days!
