So this month just flew by. I'm sure some of you are also experiencing the lockdown time-warp, where it feels like time is passing super slow but somehow every week also feels like it's only 2 days long? That's been my life the past few weeks at least. In spite of this, I've been able to make a lot more time for personal art! I'm really excited to finally have finished my Zagreus paintings - getting those done felt like a huge milestone. I was also able to finalize the design for the fourth RUNIC "main cast" character after having it on my list for months, so I'm really thrilled to soon be able to make more story driven illustrations of them all. It feels like I wrapped up some big things this month, and like I now have all this momentum to get to work on new things.

On the one hand I'm really pumped to do more art and improve, but on the other hand this pace has already had an effect on my wrist health. It was fine for the past week but suddenly went really bad today. Preventing a flare up feels like a fine balancing act these days, where just one hour too much of drawing can tip the scales. So as I'm typing this I'm wearing not one - but two wrist braces (note; not on the same arm, that would be ridiculous), and my drawing arm feels simultaneously numb and like it's on fire. Fun! I've been down this road before and have no desire to travel further, so I will be taking it a bit more easy until things feel better. That means Art Box 8 may or may not be ready next month - I'll keep you updated!
