PROJECT-V Key Art
Added 2020-12-03 11:00:08 +0000 UTCI’m veeeeeeeeeeeeeery excited to share the first published art from Vela Games’ first IP, codenamed Project-V! Most of you probably know that I work full time at Vela as a concept artist and illustrator - I’ve been working on this project for the past year and a half, developing the artstyle, characters and world with the team - and I can’t wait until we can share even more of the art we’ve been creating. I was the concept artist for all of the characters you see here, but I had a lot of support from my wonderful teammates - this painting itself was also a huge undertaking, and I depended on a lot of great feedback to help me along the way. I think I must have spent at minimum a 100 hours on this thing, which would make it probably the biggest illustration of my career. I never want to do another group painting again, but at the same time I want to do another one NOW so I can improve on all the things I don't like about this one x)
Please note that this artwork will NOT be a part of Patreon rewards, as it's technically Vela's art and not mine. I will be able to offer a closer look at the process soon though - stay tuned :)
