The Rasengan is a technique that is made entirely of pure chakra, compressed and rotated at high speed. It doesn’t use any elemental chakra (like fire or water), which means it can technically be learned by anyone—regardless of their elemental affinity. However, it's a very advanced jutsu because of the high level of chakra control required to perform it. Now, when it comes to elemental jutsu—like Fire Style, Water Style, Lightning Style, etc.—it depends on your chakra nature affinity. Every ninja is born with a natural inclination toward one (or more) of the five basic elemental chakra types: Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, and Water. For example: The Uchiha clan typically has a strong Fire affinity, so they’re known for their Fire Style jutsu. Sasuke, though an Uchiha, also has a natural Lightning affinity, which allows him to use jutsu like Chidori. If a ninja doesn’t have a natural affinity for a certain element, they will struggle—or may even be unable—to use that type of elemental jutsu effectively. So in Naruto’s case, if he doesn’t have a Fire affinity, he won’t be able to use Uchiha Fire Style jutsu properly, no matter how hard he tries. 2025-06-11 15:55:02 +0000 UTCOne thing I wanted to clear up about the reanimation jutsu: they refer to them as "fake" because their bodies more or less are, but the souls that are summoned to those bodies are very much the real ones. So basically Hiruzen had to seal his own soul, and the souls of the First and Second Hokages inside of the Reaper during his fight with Orochimaru. The Fourth's soul should also be within the reaper. Since he used the jutsu to seal the Nine Tailed Fox inside of Naruto and we know that the user's soul gets sealed as well, all four of the past Hokages' souls are basically in Hell or purgatory right now if you think about it lol Anyways, that's why this is such a dilemma for Tsunade. Not only would they technically be conscious and aware again with all of their memories, they would also be practically immortal unless their souls were sealed away by some other jutsu. Don't think they would age though.
