What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, but lose his soul? Dale hasn't actually been wrong a single time this entire show. He's the only one, without fail, to be right the entire time on every shot. It was suspicious how he spoke to Carl but up to the point of the group having the meeting, that kid was just saying what he had to to escape from people torturing him. Here's the thing as well, Shane tried to rape Lori. He is, quite literally, no better then the other men that raped those 2 girls. He's a murderer and an attempted rapist on a soup box about other murderers and rapists. That doesn't make him wrong but it certainly doesn't make him right. He may have opened fired but he also thought (and was right) about his boys being shot as well. It's an active warzone. but he's surrendered The first 2 times I've watched this show, I was on your side. This time, after life happened, I don't see it the same way. This kid is a surrendered combatant that they took in and killing someone based on what they haven't done but might do isn't justice. I don't see a difference between that and just merking some goat farmer in Afghanistan that happened to walk up on you during a patrol because they might will tell Taliban that you are there. The laws of war say you can't do it. The laws were made because we did that during war and lost humanity while doing it. This is nothing but war, and war doesn't give you a pass to be evil. I believe in God, Jesus, I get if people don't see it the same way and I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. The Walking Dead is about the fight against the living amongst the dead walking, and you either become the Walking Dead yourself or you keep your soul. RIP. He died with his soul intact. Probably

You really are a decent man." Because Daryl takes on the burden of shooting him and relieving him of his pain, since Rick obviously wasn't ready for that at the time. And the motorcycle, by the way, is Merle's, not Daryl's.

Theres a Daryl and Merle Prequel game before they join the group in season one and at the beginning of the game Daryl had to shoot his dad like rick did dale but his uncle or someone else did it for him, i can't remember because i haven't played it since it came out like 12 years ago lol
