2024-05-28 19:16:13 +0000 UTCBelieve they’ve gone to a few countries. They were stuck in Australia for a season or 2 during Covid. Definitely more physical & give players rice+beans. Think Australia government rules regarding tv shows they have get certain minimum amount of food. Much better rewards. No $ prizes except 1st place winner as far as I know. Anywhere from 47-55 days long. Usually 24 players 2 teams of 12.

But there has to be some way to address the language barrier without disadvantaging non-English speaking players. I just don't know what it is. =]

2024-05-22 06:56:37 +0000 UTCMe too! I'd like to see a couple of new-era standouts take on AU, and as previously stated there are many from the 30's that would be good to see. On the other hand, there are several (as in "multiple but not many", not "7") characters I'd like to see from other editions. There may not be enough interest to populate this full scheme, but I have this idea of a sort of tournament, over multiple years, ala World Cup. --US vs AU, and then taking on maybe SA + NZ (surely some of the cancelled survivors would love the opportunity to come back?) and after a couple more seasons some featuring UK, and then come back together for a real international championship.
