I completely felt everything Rob was saying. I was disappointed in the winner. And, just because Matt was on the right side of votes does mean he was in control.

I feel the closest comparison in Global Survivor would be the winner of Survivor NZ Thailand, who is one of my all time favourite winners. Both played a quiet pre-merge but formed key alliances to carry them safely through the merge, but knowing they would have to turn on them, at the right time, to win the game. All the while maintaining relationships to ensure they would get their jury votes. In terms of US Survivor, I would say Chris Daugherty. Integral part of the dominant alliance on their pre-swap tribe, necessarily turned on key alliances post-merge, but personable enough to gain jury votes at the end.
