The Demolitionist (Monarch 10)

In the tenth installment of the Monarch series, Brett breaks down The Demolitionist, a 1995 Robocop ripoff about a female cop who is “crucified” and then “resurrected” into a government-controlled super soldier by an MK-alchemist named Jack Crowley—the name an obvious amalgam of Jack Parsons and Aleister Crowley. Analysis of this film provides important insights into the role that the hijacking and inversion of Christian theology plays in Monarch-style mind control, both at an individual and a cultural level, and it elucidates the connection between this Luciferian religious engineering and the transhumanist/superhumanist worldview that now openly dominates the entertainment industry.

This episode also explores the background of Donald P. Borchers, a B-movie producer discussed in previous episodes whose filmography includes a large proportion of Monarch movies. Also discussed are the backgrounds and careers of director Robert Kurtzman, one of the most illustrious special makeup effects artists in the history of the horror genre; actor Tom Savini, arguably the most famous special makeup effects artist in the genre; and star Nicole Eggert, a child model most famous for her roles on Charles in Charge and Baywatch who returned to public attention a few years ago after she accused Charles in Charge co-star Scott Baio of sexual abuse, just a few years after he spoke at the Republican National Convention to endorse Donald Trump.
