src-robin18 goes to drawing in tablet

Hi dear everyone!

First I need to say how I struggle to create artworks guys without a tablet. Yup you heard that right, I am not using a drawing tablet in my artworks. This is one reason I am slow in making artworks, because in my current method I am using I am struggling to create artworks fast. I deeply apologize to anyone who are waiting for artworks expecting me to produce fast because despite how I manage to reduce my leisure hours and other stuff to commit to artworks I am not getting any faster to what I want to be.

Here is how I consume my time in making a single artwork (variants):

*Sketching (through pencil and paper) - 2 - 6 hours (depending on how detailed the art is, I usually end up 3 hours average. 6 hours is usually on the comic pages)

*Lineart (using what I called the "cropping" method in Photoshop with a mouse) - it averages 12 to 24 hours straight (12 hours for comic pages usually)!

*Coloring (using still the mouse) - a day more or less

Combine to the reality that I have main work and other errants to do daily it will certainly create this drag time to complete a single artwork.

But I guess this frustation I have will be over, as now I am going to have a drawing tablet!!! Thanks a lot for Grip for sponsoring me for a drawing tablet. We plan to buy online a Huion 22 + or a Huion 24 pro tablet. It will be purchased hopefully this 28th this month and with the shipping added to the equation it will probably arrive in June hopefully the first or second week.

I cannot wait to try my hands to this drawing tablet. Unlike the drawing pad (those dreaded black screen drawing tablets) this one is where I draw directly on screen. This is a huge step on me and definitely changes my artstyle in a better way! Of course there will be backlogs as I am to familiarize myself to the tablet, but once I learn it I will more time efficient in handling artworks!

Till that day comes, I am now counting the days my current art method to say goodbye. For now, I am still in my old ways but once the tablet arrives, you will expect some changes.
