The term Indian in the year 1492 referred to the INDIES islands, which is where Columbus thought he was when he landed in the Caribbean islands. That's why he called them "Indios" which translates to Indians. And even though Columbus never set foot in America, the term Indian had already become widespread across Europe, and that's why they referred to natives here as Indians. So you're wrong on that part. Indigenous people (Indians) were named after the people of the Indies.

Let it ride!!” is one of the funniest moments in the whole show by far. 21:12 - Fun Fact pretty much no one knows: The big bulldozer driver’s voice actor was a Make-a-Wish teen who was visiting South Park studios on the same day as Alex so Matt and Trey decided to make him a character too.
