I think the book version is more flattering because it gives the readers access to Jamie's thoughts. It shows how Jamie ended being the way he is. He does a lot of self reflection in the books. The books show how he was everyone's pawn. From Cersi to the Mad King. I always thought of him being like Sansa with a head full of fairy tales and songs. Then he learned that the good guys weren't always good and knights weren't all honorable.

I don't remember if you guys watch the intro sequence for each episode or not. If not, you should. It gives a great perspective on the geography and changes regularly to reflect the locations where events have recently been taking place. Keep keeping it real.

Ya I’ve heard a lot of excuses about it, and how they said that it was meant to look consensual and that hey would have done it differently if they knew the audience would interpret it otherwise – but I don’t buy that. The last few scenes we’ve seen them in, Jaime is practically begging her for sex - it’s pretty clear exactly how it would come off. In my opinion, the show version of Jamie is more flattering than the book version so I don’t get why they did it

The sex scene with Cersei and Jamie was definitely different in the book. It was more consensual between the two it doesn't not make it incest but it wasn't forced Also Davis sent a letter to the iron bank, pretty much the biggest bank in game of thrones
